LAURA J. BRAND
Director

Laura Brand has been the director and owner of Brand Lacrosse since 2002. She begins her eighth season as the Head Coach of the Rutgers Women’s Lacrosse Program. In 2007, the Scarlet Knights finished 12-5 and reached a
No. 14 ranking in the national polls (IWLCA). The 2007 season also marked their best showing since a No. 11 ranking during the 2000 season. The 12 regular-season victories were the third-highest win total in team history.
In 2008, the Scarlet Knights reached the Big East Tournament for the second consecutive year.

Brand, a four-year letter winner for Rutgers University, helped lead the Scarlet Knights to their first-ever national ranking and NCAA tournament appearance in 1999. During her tenure at Rutgers, Brand has produced 12 All Americans and 22 All BIG EAST Conference players.

Brand was a member of the Canadian National Lacrosse Team from 1999– 2004. She was a starter for the 2001 World Cup Team.
